Andrew Wilson brings over four decades of legal experience, having practised in both Australia and New Zealand since 1980. His distinguished career spans public, regulatory and private practice, giving him a rare depth of insight into the commercial and litigation landscape.

Andrew has held senior legal roles with the Directorate of Public Prosecutions Victoria and the National Companies & Securities Commission (now Australian Securities and Investments Commission), working across enforcement, policy and legislative drafting. In private practice, he has worked with leading firms including Baker McKenzie in Melbourne as a Senior Associate in the corporate and securities team, Connell Rishworth Gerrard in Whangārei, New Zealand, and ran his own specialist commercial practice in Ivanhoe for 12 years.

In more recent years, Andrew has contributed his expertise to respected commercial practices such as Aitken Partners and Lord Commercial Lawyers. He has now re-established his boutique practice, Wilson & Co Commercial and Personal Lawyers, while also consulting with Whelan Lawyers.

Andrew is an Accredited Commercial Law Specialist with extensive experience in general commercial law, commercial disputes and forensic investigations. He is widely recognised for his thorough yet pragmatic approach to resolving complex commercial, property and estate disputes, combining sharp litigation skills with commercial acumen.
